90 CAM for Panasonic AG-HPX170 Cameras

Description

The 90 CAM is the camera adapter module for Panasonic cameras including AG-HPX170, AG-HVX200, AG-HVX200A, and AG-HMC150.

The 90 Cam receives digital data and power over standard eight conductor CAT5 network cabling. The cable from the RLC-90 Controller contains four conductors for power and four conductors of balance line data.

A tally feature is also included; the 90-CAM camera adapter contains tally indicators that can be illuminated by the user’s switcher or external control system. A terminal board is provided on the RLC-90 connector panel as a signal input for the tally feature. Digital codes can be sent to illuminate the tally indicators on the 90 Cam. The tally indicator is a group of four super bright LEDs located on the front surface of the 90-CAM camera adapter which may be mounted on or near the camera.

A control cable (ESI P/N: 2090136) is provided with each 90-CAM camera adapter module which connects the 90-CAM with the remote control zoom/record and focus ports on the rear of the camera. This cable connects to the 90 Cam via a 9 pin DSUB connector on the rear panel of the 90 Cam Module.

Velcro type fasteners are provided with the 90 CAM, these fasteners are more robust than standard Velcro and have one side adhesive for attaching to camera and 90 CAM.
